Lauren won her first Grand National Championship in
2004. It was in
Female Triple Unders. In doing so, she
defeated the reigning U.S. National record
holder in female triple unders. In the event of Triple Unders, the competitor must jump, then spin the rope around their body three times before landing. Each competitor does as many Triple Unders as they can before stopping from exhaustion.
